How to log into MT4 on a desktop PC.

  1. First, you will need your Eightcap credentials. These are sent to you via email following registration. 
  2. Install MT4 on a desktop PC.
  3. Go to the File menu and select Login to Trade Account. 
  4. In the window that pops open, copy the credentials from the welcome email and paste them into the corresponding fields. (Note: Ensure you do not copy blank space)
  5. Tick Save account information if you want to enable automatic login when switching accounts or re-opening the platform.
  6. Select the server Eightcap-Real for Live trading accounts.
  7. You should then be notified with a sound to indicate a successful login.
