How to reset your Eightcap trading account password
In this article, we will guide you through how to reset your Eightcap trading account / platform password in a few simple steps.
- Log in to your Eightcap Client Portal.
- Once on the 'Dashboard' page, select the 'Manage' dropdown option on the trading account card.
- Select 'Change password'.
After saving your new password, you can use it when logging in to your trading account.
When using TradingView or TradeLocker, resetting your password in the Client Portal will update the password you use to log in to Eightcap as your broker.
Please note that these platforms require two login steps:
- Log in to TradingView or TradeLocker using your platform account details.
- Log in to Eightcap as your broker.
When connecting to Eightcap inside the platform, use the details below:
- Eightcap Username: Your email address associated with Eightcap
- Password: The password you created when following the instructions above
If you create additional TradingView or TradeLocker trading accounts, the broker login details will remain the same. Once logged in to the platform, you can access all of your Eightcap trading accounts using the same broker credentials.
Please note that trading accounts are platform-specific, so you will not be able to use your MT4 / MT5 account on TradingView, and vice versa.
