CFDs are high-risk products that involve using borrowed money (leverage) to trade. This means you can lose the entirety of your initial investment if the market doesn’t go your way. It’s important to have a solid risk management strategy in place. Trade smart and stay informed.
Withdrawals will be processed using the same method as the deposit. If multiple deposit methods have been used, including a credit card, we may return the funds to the originating credit card first, regardless of the withdrawal method chosen at the time of the request.
Due diligence in the context of a regulated CFD broker is essential for several reasons. Eightcap is legally required to comply with AML and KYC regulations. Client identity verification of the account holder ensures that only the rightful owner can request withdrawals and prevent third-party transactions. Eightcap may request proof of identification and proof of address documents in order to process the client withdrawal requests.
*Eightcap does not charge any internal fees for deposits or withdrawals, but be aware that the provider you use might charge you a transaction fee and/or international processing fee and/or other. **Every withdrawal is subjected to a review from our Finance team, which can take 1-2 business days. After the request has been completed, processing times are as listed above.

We review withdrawal requests within 1–2 business days. Once approved, the time it takes for funds to reach you depends on your payment method and provider. Most methods listed on our payments page take 1–5 business days after processing. We may request documents before completing a withdrawal. Check Withdrawal History in your client portal for updates.
Withdrawals are returned to the original deposit source. If you deposited by credit or debit card, we refund that same card. We cannot refund a card you have not used to deposit.
Card refunds are matched to your individual deposit transactions within a 30-day window, starting with those closest to expiry. If you used multiple cards, your withdrawal may therefore be split across them. Once your deposits have been fully refunded, any remaining withdrawal amount is treated as profit and paid by bank wire transfer.
If you no longer have access to the payment method you originally used for your deposit, please contact our support team so we can verify before authorising an alternative withdrawal method. You’ll need to provide official documentation confirming the card/account closure.
We are required by law to verify the identity of our customers and ensure that the accounts and funds being used belong to them. This helps protect both our customers and the financial system from fraud, identity theft, and financial crime. You may be asked to provide additional information if certain details are missing or inconsistent or to ensure that your funds aren’t being accessed by an unauthorised third party.
