📈 Welcome to our weekly market breakdown!

In this video, we’re diving deep into the major markets, dissecting their charts, and leaving no detail unexplored. We’ve got the latest on price action, critical support and resistance levels, and key insights from this week’s activity to keep you well-informed.

The week got underway with the BOJ; rates held as expected, but the action was in the 10-year tweak. This sent the JPY sharply lower, and we saw the USD race above 151, and the AUD and EUR hit levels not seen in several weeks.

The FOMC maintained rates as expected, but the message set of buying as traders looked to the message supporting further rate holds. The USD dived, and US stock indexes continued to push higher, extending solid weeks.

Crypto continued to move higher, with some key coins Solana, Bitcoin, Cardano and Ripple.

The week ends with US and Canadian employment data. Will we see the payroll figures continue to put pressure on the USD? Next week, we will be watching the RBA rate decision, BOJ Governor comments, Chinese CPI data and UK GDP.
